Laser Therapy for Facial Veins

Unsightly spider veins and red blotches on the face affect millions of people. Many of our patients would like to get rid of those unattractive and sometimes embarrassing distractions to their natural beauty. Fortunately, advanced laser technology enables us to safely, easily, and effectively treat those facial spider veins, also called telangiectasis. Topical numbing cream can be used to help retrieve any discomfort.
There can be some mild to moderate heat sensation during the laser session. The treated site can get red and swollen temporarily. Tiny scabs or tiny blisters may appear afterwards for about one week. More than one treatment may be necessary to completely destroy the blood vessels on the skin depending upon how many there are.

V-Raser for the treatment of Toe or Fingernail Fungus

The V Raser is a safe, effective way to treat nail fungus. It is an off-label treatment which has been quite successful for our patients. Nail fungus can be difficult to treat with creams and topical lacquers. Many patients do not want to take oral anti-fungal medications due to the possible side effects and extensive liver metabolism of the drug. Only a few treatments are necessary unless the nail is very thick and diseased. The treatment involves minimal discomfort and does not take very long. Patients come in once every 3-4 weeks until normal nail starts to grow out. A documented culture proven fungal infection is important to ensure successful treatment. Poorly fitted shoes can cause toenails to look like they have a fungal infection when they do not.
